why not its just a little bit of paint!

I have what can only be described as a shoe box of a laundry – don’t get me wrong its functional, light, airy, it fits the important boring things the washing machine, dryer, ironing board and some exciting stuff, a stash of chocolate that only I know the where a bout’s of! But its tiny a massive1.9m x 2.9

with three kids I have decided that is the heart of a family home – well it is in mine!    school bags live there between outings, washing piles magically triple in size, the latest offerings from preschool art classes end up piled on the bench with the ‘don’t throw them out mum’ cries as the artist runs off to discover new exciting things never to think about the prized artwork again – until I finally through it out and i am asked almost immediately where is my rocket ship – you know the one I made at preschool. bugger!

so as I am the one who spends countless hours in my laundry I have decided it will be a ‘stylish’ laundry fit for a stylish (i wish) mother.

so hear is my plan – a darling friend of mine introduced me to chevron – ahh it was love at first sight!    I am going to paint my ‘bare’ wall of the laundry in chevron either matt black or bright yellow.  Suggestions and criticism’s please… I will be sure to let you all know how it goes and I will post pictures.

I truly believe that interiors are about experimenting - so here it goes!

I am so totally jealous of the laundry pictured below.
